Rishan from the asylum and immigration section of my Rebellion! zine. She escaped religious persecution and came to England when she was 16. She has now qualified as an NHS nurse. The zine can be purchased here https://marcdavenant.com/product/rebellion-zine/

The zine for Rebellion! is now available in my shop. It has 55 photos distilled down from 40,000 taken over the life of the project. I’m very pleased with the quality of the printing and hope you like it https://marcdavenant.com/product/rebellion-zine/
My article on what may be the last coal miners’ strike to ever take place in England. Nobody should be visiting that museum until this is resolved.

Miners are back on strike: ‘I lost everything last time. I won’t go back this time until it’s sorted’

@marcdavenant Ha. Good analogy. I'm convinced some seem to like that feeling. Something akin to the suicide squad who turn up at the end of Monty Pythons Life of Brian and commit ritual suicide during Brian's crucifiction and their leader's confident dying words, "that showed them".
Voting Reform because you are unhappy with the state of the country after Brexit is like punching yourself in the head to cure a headache.

Huge thanks to street poets Freya Lyngnes, Edmund Davie and Luke Davis for doing three new poems for us today for the Rebellion! exhibition. They are really talented and you can walk up and get a poem done in real time on typewriters. You can find them between Tate Modern and The Globe.
