Re: the Americans kidnapped and killed in Mexico recently and everyone freaking out that I travel alone in Mexico frequently:

-Matamoros is one of the most dangerous cities in Mexico
-They were mistaken for drug smugglers; it wasn't random
-A hell of a lot more Americans are kidnapped and killed every day IN AMERICA

Thirty first day in the hospital at my child’s side as they rehab from #traumaticbraininjury Hope wars with exhaustion and anger wars with sorrow and gratitude wars with mourning. So much hard work and so many tears for them. Wish I could take all the pain on myself instead.

@Bronwyn hugs. Mental health is like that. Same with my depression. Meds don’t chase it away, it just means I can cope with the worst of it. Thank god for my meds right now

Life can change in an instant. I’m in pediatric ICU with my child that fell out a 2nd story window at a friend’s house. Head injury. Asking for good wishes and positive energy right now.
