Another parkrun ticked off, back at Chadderton Hall once again. No looking at the watch today but wanted to put in a decent effort (which I did thankfully), something I feel I've really struggled with recently.

After having some challenging mental health issues the last few months I've found it difficult to really enjoy the running, but I do feel like I'm slowly coming round, so that's good!

A lovely fresh morning to hit some trails with a couple of friends. All about soaking in the scenery and catching up today. Finished nearly 2 hours ago and still can't feel my fingers! 😂🥶

Long time no post... Back to Stamford Park for today's parkrun. Very cold and icy in places. After a couple of big falls on ice before Christmas I saw no point killing myself and was very cautious in those spots.

Marks my 6 year anniversary where the love affair started. With any luck I should make it to 250 parkruns by the end of the year too!

Just been to watch the Tour of Britain fly past in Greenfield. Very speedy! Really wanted to get up to the first big climb but didn't make it

Was my 200th parkrun this morning and went to a new one for me, Philips Park in Manchester. Nice little park with a couple of horrendous hills you have to do twice. Still on my way back to fitness but feels like I'm slowly getting there!

First time doing the tailwalker volunteer role at Chadderton Hall parkrun today. Had been a bit rough with Covid a couple of weeks ago and didn't really fancy running today. Surprised me how much jogging I had to do to keep up with the walkers, more like an interval session! 😂🥵 #parkrun

The Sunday trail run, probably a bit hilly for my liking today but a friend wanted to do this route... Shame I got stood up and had to slog through on my own! 🤣

I'm also doing a good job at picking routes with 'Caution! Bull in field' signs at the moment. Certainly sharpens your focus!

parkrun number 196 ticked off with a rather gruelling one at Glossop. Hot, hilly and could definitely feel having not run as much because of my ankle injury (and a week away stuffing my face!).

As tough as it was, still really glad I got out there today 😎 Hope everyone else enjoyed their parkrun today
