I've been -talking- about building a bench for the plants in front of my wife's home office for a while. The increasing pace of her asking how it was going led me to believe she'd prefer if I did a bit more -doing- so here we are

Legs and seat are cedar 1x12s. Ripped a cedar 1x6 in half to make the rails. Dadoed a groove for the seat and then stuck everything together with biscuits. Let's see how well this all sets up!

I built this TV Unit five years ago. It was a glue and screw job, with the screwheads visible. I used clear wax as a finish.

It needed a spruce up, but I decided to hide the screwheads with dowels whilst I was at it.

After giving the whole thing a sand down, I waxed it. Decided to go for an ‘Old Pine’ wax rather than clear wax. Really pleased with how it came out.

This is my first attempt at a cylindrical tenon ! The leg tenon is a little too short but nothing that is not solvable with a spokeshave 😀

I had troubles with my auger drill bit as trying to drill a 25mm hole straight from nothing is suite hard ! I'm looking for tips to ease this process (maybe a smaller hole first ?).

This is a test for the staked low stool from Christopher Schwartz book.
