Voice teacher and poet, recovering attorney, licensed psychotherapist,. Looking to help build a better, more loving world.

I've seen two patients since lunch.

Neither can remember what we are talking about 5 minutes later, have Tachycardia sitting there that fatigues them, and they seem confused throughout.

This is the 3rd time getting COVID for both. Both got it over holiday break.

Both are PROFESSIONALS.

Avoid.

Covid.

Someone please explain to my dog that's she's not a guard dog? She's a lie on the bed and occasionally fetch a ball dog.

But she's part ridge back and needs to warn me about lions

#DecRecs favorite novella I read in 2022: The Annual Migration of Clouds by Premee Mohamed @premeesaurus. A post-climate-apocalypse-and-pandemic-collapse story about being handed a shitty, broken world and deciding what to do about it. It broke my heart, in a good way :')

Premee Mohamed writes ambivalent characters who give in to their cowardice even as they resent themselves for it in fascinating, powerful, uncomfortably relatable ways, and whose courage is equally grounded and relatable.

I know it's controversial but I firmly believe access to housing, food, water, warmth and leisure should not require hard work. The bare minimum should come to people easily. That is a society to strive for, not some hard labour grind without relief.
This plant is commonly called the butterfly pea. Its taxonomic name is Clitoria ternatea. There's about 70 flowering plants in the Clitoria genus, and if you think the name sounds a bit like "clitoris", you're correct. That's exactly what they're named after.
Coming to the last week before the holiday break. I have 3 poems that need revising. Do I shop or revise? #poetry #holidays

Upon the deep, a wintery storm
Is blowing, but I’m nice and warm.
The mariners are full of dread
Above, but I am in my bed
Below. The water starts to seep
Into my dream. I’m sound asleep.
I meet a worm, but first a whale,
And pout when my predictions fail.
