max (S_u) = f(u) implies
2uv - f(v) \leq f(u)
or
f(u) + f(v) \geq 2uv
With v = u we get f(u) \geq u^2

Now,
f(u) = max (S_u)
means
f(u) = \max_v ( 2uv - f(v) ) \leq \max_v ( 2uv - v^2) = (2 u u - u^2) = u^2

We have bounded f(u) by u^2 on both sides, which means f(u) = u^2 and f(5) = 25.

I don't want to report a user to their home server. I want to report them to a list of 100 servers that I trust who would also quickly and quietly block them limiting their reach.

And I want to be able to decide who I trust with that information. The needlessly controversial #fediblock tag was created because we don't have a tool like this.

Using public hastags to do this is obviously inferior. But users adapt to system that can't be bother to adapt to their needs.

Conference over. My talk was a success.

But it pays nothing. Nobody is banging on my front door with jobs because I gave a talk at a big conference.

I desperately need a job, coming up on 9 months unemployed.

I am looking for Incidents, SRE, or Platform work. I have been judged as overqualified for Senior roles, so my focus is Staff+ and such.
