If you are looking for a gift for somebody, consider commissioning a comic from a local artist! This is cheaper than you'd expect and makes for a unique and meaningful gift. I have commissioned a comic for my mom about 10 years ago (when I had a job) and she still mentions it once in a while.
Doing so, you will also support artists (and we desperately need them if we want to live in a functioning society one day). To find an artist, you can subscribe to #CommissionsOpen (and similar) hash tags, or just ask around.
