đź‘‹ Hello, I'm looking into managed mastodon hosting services. I know about masto.host & have reached out to joinmastodon.org as well.
Do you know of any other mastodon hosting services? Aside from hosting itself, we will need help in migrating.

Can anyone please recommend a documentary about the Great Atlantic Sargassum Belt?
Does anyone know anyone who owns a peertube instance I can join? I’d like to post videos about fediverse things I will work on. 🙏
Quick vibe check on @elk usage.
👉 Have you been using #Elk web app (https://elk.zone)?
Please #boost for science :) We have been discussing the future of Elk and your input here matters a lot. 🙏
Feel free to elaborate on the comments as well!

Just scraping the #IANA assigned TLDs and the corresponding documented #nameservers. What I don't get is, why so many companies apply for a #TLD. It's not particularly cheap to apply for one of those ngTLDs, yet compared to the company sizes, it's probably pennies. Is it a prestige investment? Is it a digital resource to grab, before someone else does it?
Other than #Microsoft, #Google, and #AWS, I've rarely seen any ngTLD representing a corporation's name to actually be used in practice.
Does anyone in the #infosec community share their view?
Lazy question/search is broken now: what's the best way to get ripped DVDs from a hard drive attached to my server to my not smart TV which could have a Chromecast connected to it along with the sky box. There's ethernet from the office to the living room so bandwidth shouldn't be a problem.
If necessary I can move the drive to the TV, ideally I don't want to need a keyboard and mouse in the living room.
There are spare raspberry pis available too add to the mix if needed
Is there any great book on #AlpineLinux ? I love the concept, and love the considerations of the operating system. Yet, I usually opt for #Debian since I am much more familiar with it. It would be great to change that in the mid-term.

Does anyone know of an android music app that can play tracks downloaded to a folder but doesn't auto play the next track when the current one finishes?
I have to play some music at an event via a Bluetooth speaker and the apps I can find all jump to the next track automatically, but I need to be able to play them individually.
