Behoud van showtuin Eco-care - Loek Gorris op de Kaardebol

Deze tuin is meer dan 12 jaar geleden aangelegd door Loek met veel liefde en vakmanschap. Veel inheemseplanten, dieren en insecten zijn hierbij gebaat. Een prachtplek voor iedereen in Zutphen en omgeving, leerzaam en een kleine voorbeeldtuin, hoe het ook kan. Klimaatproof. Loek is een inspirator op dit gebied voor vele mensen.

This is the first time I experience reliable speech recognition for #dictation on the desktop, particularly on #Linux! Until now I had given up on that being a possibility.

Works really well in English. It struggles with French, but who doesn't?!

On 29 March 2026, the Dutch cabinet (led by PM Rob Jetten) approved a bill allowing police to monitor public social media, collect names and messages of demonstrators - even if they’ve committed no offence. Reason: better control of protests.
Justice Minister David van Weel calls it "21st-century policing". The Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) and the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights strongly criticise the proposal for lacking clear boundaries, risking mass tracking, discrimination, and threats to privacy, free speech, and the right to protest.
Now heading to Parliament. A dangerous precedent for Europe.

This is ridiculous for many reasons, but if this does indeed come to pass it may be beneficial to learn how to “homebrew” a router. Fortunately, you can make a router out of basically anything resembling a computer. I'd like to point it to a folder on my Linux desktop, and have it process the audio files I make into text. Even better if I could schedule this to happen automatically.
