Man, I get it. People don't wanna bring politics here the same way the birdsite had. But it is easy to say that when decisions made in Washington DC affects us black and brown people everywhere else in the world just as much.

Let's have the uncomfortable talks instead of the flame wars the birdsite used to have. Let's listen, learn and hold each other accountable. There's plenty of voices out there needing to be heard.

Finally got back out walking today. Ice + bad joints = recipe for disaster. Even with cleats it can be nerve-wracking so I wait until it's a bit safer.

But boy, the views were worth waiting for. First up, looking across the channel from Totem Park. Would you look at that sun!
