6:00AM: 32F, cloudy, dark - no snow over night.
We have "another round of widespread precipitation" moving in. Sitka's at the cut-off point - snow north of us, rain/snow south. Hopefully it'll be mostly rain here.
'Cause those piles of snow ain't melting and man....they need to.
By the way, it's my weather-duty to point out Sitka broke the low-temp record on the 28th. We went to 27F, which beat the old record of 28F, set in 1982.
Getting back into the hat-making groove (Christmas bazaars are coming after all) and I found a new salmon pattern on Ravelry. I'm enjoying playing with the colors/pattern and have another couple variations in mind.

Looks dark & gloomy out which, if I'm to be honest, I'm really enjoying.
We had just a wee snow shower overnight - there's a trace of the white stuff left behind.
We * might* get snow showers today and tomorrow - a couple of inches possible in total.

6:15AM: 28F, mostly cloudy.
There are a few snow showers here & there in the forecast - maybe real snow Monday before turning to rain, but nothing, NOTHING like we've had.
It'll take a long time for all of this to melt. We still have 4'-6' piles around our house: snow John pushed off our flat, 1st floor roof.
Attached is looking down our street Monday. It looks much the same today.

We might have snow flurries, but at least we aren't Ketchikan & POW - 4-7 of snow possible today.

I just enjoyed driving home yesterday to clear and not-icy streets. I would like to continue to enjoy this until....say....next December!
7:00AM: Snowfall update.
Sitka has had 58.8" this season - the 2nd highest total on record (since 2007 at least). The highest was 77.4" in 2011-12.
6:15AM: 28F, overcast.
Could be flurries today, but it looks sunny-ish /cloudy-ish and cold for the rest of the week.
So I'm switching my Xtra Tuffs for ice crampons when I sally forth.
