Some days ago I released MatChess, a fun hybrid of Chess and the Match-3 genre.
It's on sale for the next 3 days (on its own, and in a bundle with one of my other quirky solitaires). Enjoy!

Most of the above to say this:

This is not an old man yelling at the sky. This is not "the youth are wrong, trust me a middle aged man."

People in their early 20s are struggling to form social bonds to a significantly greater extent than they were in the already socially isolated climate of 10 - 15 years ago, and are increasingly falling victim to technologies designed to capitalize on this.

People younger than that are developing such flawed relationships with these same technologies that it is fundamentally altering how they view and interact with the world.

And, all the while, we're being turned against one another.

The joys of AI deciding it has lost hope and nuking your codebase... This is with Cursor (AI code editor) and Gemini 2.5 Pro (an AI "thinking" model - an LLM in other words)

The AI’s Existential Crisis: An Unexpected Journey with Cursor and Gemini 2.5 Pro

In exploring AI boundaries, I recently encountered an unusual experience using Cursor’s Agent mode, specifically leveraging Max Mode powered by Gemini 2.5 Pro. The scenario began straightforwardly…

I need a new cartridge of Kirby's Dreamland 2, this one is already full.
As to why it doesn't display Roto Force although it does have an entry in IGDB, I can only assume that's because I never set up an official landing page for the game.
I do have my custom domain rotoforce.net, but that just redirects directly to the steam store page, and I guess linking directly to steam is one step too far for epic.
Although on the other hand they ARE fine linking to official websites which have links to steam (among other platforms/stores).
If epic games store doesn't have the game you are searching for, it will actually search IGDB and try to link to the official game page.

Today I was reminded that old online chats offered context awareness for the people online: you knew you won't be a bother to a friend who has a smiley flower as a status; and you knew you might not be getting a quick reply from someone who's Away.

Today I don't even know if my friends are online or not. The messenger apps make the assumption that everyone is online, and if not, they will receive a push notification, and will reply to you as soon as possible. But this assumption is barely true. I bet it makes lives harder, especially for ND people
