@nina_kali_nina tbh, I am not sure *I* could get to 20 years of experience as a developer without being entirely jaded, cynical and whatever goes alongside. Just as well I am not a developer (eee, except some of my code gets used to hold things together).

@Pheebe sums up a developer's life pretty nicely, I think: optimism, frustration, self-destruction. not to give any credibility to the "thinking" claim.
