Here's a little chiptune I made with @strudel (https://strudel.cc) - it's a browser-based playground (related to the desktop Tidal Cycles; both are #FOSS / #FLOSS) that lets you start #livecoding music (AKA #algorave) quickly, in an interesting way with a functional paradigm!

Strudel REPL

Strudel is a music live coding environment for the browser, porting the TidalCycles pattern language to JavaScript.

I love this motto. It's titled "<marquee> is going to change everything / webdev of the future" and is from https://analognowhere.com/_/cxxcxl/ (CC BY-NC AnalogNowhere). Thanks - there was attached alt text in the source! #unix_surrealism #motto #accessibility #webdev #frontend

@kde And obligatorily (same CC license):

I use @kde free and open source software every day. There's a lot of it, but one example is the ultra-customisable yet easy-to-use Linux/BSD desktop environment KDE Plasma.

I got a drawing tablet for Christmas so decided to make this fanart (CC BY-SA 4.0 Oliver Geer 2024) on Krita, another piece of KDE software (that you can use on many operating systems, not just Linux). By the way, they're fundraising: https://kde.org/fundraisers/yearend2024

Also, thanks Linux Wacom for the out-of-the-box FOSS drivers.

Why is the Microsoft Surface Pen double the price of the One by Wacom drawing tablet and pen combination?!

I guess my advice would be use the Wacom equipment if you can handle drawing not directly on the screen.
