We all know this feeling.

A drawing where I made the sketch in pencil, by hand, and afterwards added the colours digitally. Something I rarely do, but it is nice to test new things.

Looking at the Apple Macbook Neo wondering if it is for me 🤔

I've got a gen 2 Lenovo Yoga L13 (2021) and it appears the Neo is maybe 28% faster (comparing to M1 chip that I'm reading is similar) and several hours more battery life, but I don't think that justifies the cost.

I think I'd rather get a Wacom Movinkpad 13 to plug into my laptop for digital illustration away from the desk and I can leave the Android tablet home.

Seeking advice from digital artists who have tried both:

* Apple Pencil with iPad to do painting and drawing on a MacBook (iPad used as a pad)

* Wacom Intros Pro with MacOS

Is the drawing experience better with the Wacom?

I have used Wacom tablets and pens for years - both cheap "bamboo" and expensive "Intuos Pro" versions. In my experience, the "feel" is not worth the price. And the glitches also destroy the experience. And the software+drivers are a disaster.

I'm thinking about moving to an Apple Pencil used on an iPad but would like to hear from others experiences.
