It's such a very lovely day here. The Climate Change is keeping the breeze nice and warm, and folks are gathering to do their civic duty in this great nation of ours!

Also I have this cat and what Might be a metric ton of weed, so take my assessment of the situation with a grain of salt.

1. Homelessness has risen by 6% in the U.S. since 2017

2. Approximately 11,000 Americans are estimated to have died of heat exposure in 2023. 2024 is on track to be significantly worse.

3. Almost all U.S. municipalities do not report the deaths of homeless Americans.

Do. The. Math.

Donate to homeless individuals, Especially those who appear to have no shelter at all. Please.

I think white, able, cis, straight people and any of us with any selection of those qualities, should keep in mind that empathy is when you Think you know how someone feels. It's not a friggin psychic power. STOP assuming you understand and Listen. Learn to act with love when you Don't understand.

Today is Trans Voice day.
You've heard me talk about the violence that trans people face on a daily basis.
It is worse now.
It is getting even worse.

This is designed as a community Rite, a ritual for our sorrow, our anger, and our defiance - A ritual calling for mercy and justice from those in power, and those who can influence them.

Please, wake up.
