@ronanmcd @vfrmedia My local #ReformUK #councils in #Northamptonshire have just deprived a #charity working for #Deaf people in the #county, that had existed for 150 years, of all #funding, resulting in its #closure, with loss of all staff #jobs & #services, regardless of all appeals, both from the charity itself & local deaf people. These two #Councils are my local ones, running my local #county, #Northamptonshire. I knew this sort of thing would happen if #voters here put #ReformUK in power, but it seems #Deaf people, & the #disabled in general, count for NOTHING, either with the voters, or the #Reform #politicians they've elected. These councils won't be coming up for re-election until May of 2029.
