I get that it's "basically a Linux laptop" but somehow the novelty of doing computer things with my #SteamDeck never gets old. Today I'm tuning the PID of my #ender3 after changing the hotend to a Revo CR with it.

I've been wanting to venture into the open source FPGA world, but hadn't gotten a board to use. And then suddenly post #supercon I have 3 ice40up5k based dev boards on my desk. Two upduinos, inspired from Xark's Xosera gpu design for the m68k, and a FOMU as a perk from the tinytapeout workshop.

I've had so much fun, met so many amazing people and learned so much.
You can't grow in a vacuum. You have to meet others and find out what they're excited about. I'm already planning for next year.
Con's over, yet I still spent the rest of the evening programming my badge after drinks at the ale house.

Drove up, got checked in at the greentree inn and now just walking around Pasadena.

Also, I am positive that there is a way to decode this pattern from the supercon page. It changes order every time you refresh. There are 64 possible images(plus a blank 65th image). The grid is 512 of them.
