Finally wrote up my #supercon badge hack, turning my conference badge into a synthesizer keyboard.

#Supercon this year, I gave a workshop on embedded #Rust. Some loved the language, some didn't, but everyone enjoyed the experience. Check out my latest blog for a full tutorial + code along with my thoughts on #embedded Rust: https://shawnhymel.com/3042/embedded-rust-workshop-reflections-from-hackaday-supercon/?utm_source=mastodon&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=general_courses_blog
Hackaday: Thanks For A Superconference. “If you didn’t get a chance to see the talks live, head on over to the Hackaday YouTube stream and get yourself caught up really quickly, because that’s only half of the talks. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be writing up the other track of Design Lab talks and getting them out to you ASAP.”

Going live in a few to recap #Supercon! Plus a #HackOClock for my MicroSD data-storage #PCB #jewelry, a vintage #electronics parts haul from Apex Surplus for my retro #cyberdeck, travel hardware #EDC, & more 👀

One of the more ludicrous (but delightful) boards I was given at #Supercon was this one - the CapKey. It's a capacitive-touch keyboard the size of a keycap.
Would tag the maker, but can't seem to find him!
