Pediatric hospitals are being crushed by RSV, flu, #COVID19. I'm masked every day, seeing patients of all ages. We don’t get sick from our patients and we keep the environment safe for them. Yet unmasked adults gather at meetings, shops, parties. IMO, that’s surreal. #MaskUp

I am creating a series of #raku spheres that are imaginings of different celestial bodies. What I love about these pieces is that in different lighting features of the piece appear can look quite different.

What do you think life might be like on a planet like this? What artifacts might one find in such a place?

Every time I go to the pharmacy, I stop by the art machine to get an art. It's a converted cigarette machine--there's a whole series but I've only ever seen this one--and for five dollars it'll give you art in a box the size of a cigarette pack. Mostly painted wood blocks of that size, but I've gotten pottery and plush and earrings and a tiny notebook too.

"A Day in Silver Springs"

I enjoy plein air. I'm new'ish to the area, but one day I decided to venture out on my own. Loaded my painting gear and drove out to see a reservoir an hour away. I got lost twice even with GPS, through unpaved roads, got nervous about the certain political stickers on my vehicle... ! Finally got to the lake, which was completely dry. Absolutely no one was around, and how eery quiet it was! #artist #mastoart
