Hagi-yaki yunomi come from the city of Hagi, in Yamaguchi Prefecture, and are made by hand, one by one. They’re designed for everyday #tea: simple shapes, natural colors, and no unnecessary decoration. It’s this kind of simplicity that defines Hagi ware, considered (alongside #Raku from #Kyoto and Karatsu) one of the key ceramics in #Japanese tea culture.
