First ork I've ever done, loved doing this one.
It is probably also my best effort of painting to date.

A little progress to report, Ork boys boss head is nearly complete. Since this photo was taken I have applied more washes of shades.

Hopefully have the head fitted to the body very soon, maybe even tonight.

Took me ages to realise that there were water level glasses on the boiler. I have now painted these.

Here's one I did a while back, Airfix jet provost jet trainer.

In 1/72 scale. This was the first time I painted with an airbrush, I also did pre-shading under the gloss red.

Added the first cab side today. Bulkhead detail now painted just needs gloss lacquer on the cream colour.

Boiler now progressing along nicely.
Clear coat of lacquer has now been applied.
Have the funnel and hand rails to do, then it can be fitted to the chassis.

Now have the boiler painted green and black.
I'm going to give it a coat of gloss varnish to make it shiny before the weathering is done.
Although the chipping will be done before hand.

Think I forgot to post this picture.
This is the only entrance that survives at #Mangotsfield #railway #station now. The other 2 have been blocked up for many years.

I did look to see if this went anywhere but alas no.

I will post more pictures of this amazing place sometime, I know it's not model making but it is a place I absolutely love and is inspirational for some of the ideas I went to model.
