@kyonshi They haven't been too central to the discussion, because most early plastic soldier makers matched the metal soldier scales.

I have purchased some #Airfix figures just to measure, though, because they're influential in the development of 20mm and 25mm scales.

In things that only I will ever notice or care about, I have followed the #Revell painting guide (bottom). But it "felt wrong" as I was doing it... to the point I checked 3 different times to make sure I'd not confused the two colours.

Only after completing it did I pull up the #Airfix painting guide.
