I'm really excited for the new season of #TheSandman, and I'm fascinated to see who they cast as delirium and whether they get a talented actor.

All the casting so far has been superb. Admittedly, I've not read the comics, but I've loved the performances from season one.

So many great performances to pick from but David Thewlis' performance as John Dee was a particular highlight.

Did you hear about #PlanetX? It's a hypothetical #Planet believed to exist beyond the edge of our #SolarSystem. It is thought to have a massive gravitational pull that could have an impact on the orbits of other #Planets in our solar system.

Gamers, #projectzomboid is amazing. I have over three thousand hours in this game. It is endlessly replayable. When you've mastered the base game there is a sandbox setting to change a great deal about the game. You can even change how dark the nights are. It is a zombie game but calling it that does it a disservice. PZ's great hook is the permadeath nature of the game. You can craft and improve your skills, but one scratch may be enough to kill you and this makes combat tense

Once upon a time, ~36,000 years ago, unicorns were real.

The β€œSiberian unicorn” (scientific name: Elasmotherium sibericum) weighed >4 tons, had a long horn ~3 feet on its nose & roamed Eurasia’s grasslands at the same time as modern humans.

How a change in climate wiped out the 'Siberian unicorn'

The loss of the Siberian unicorn shows just how vulnerable some animals can be to environmental change that can impact on their food supply.

On some level you do have to admire the Empire in #StarWars

If you'd spent 20 years building a death star only for some dickheads to come along and blow it up most people would be like 'Fuck it, I'm sticking to spaceships' but not the Empire. They got off of their collective backsides and built another one.

That's some admirable determination, bad guys or not.

I can't be the only one who watches things like Star Wars and think, I want to see how bad it can get!

#Capatalism will damn us all because big business will seek ever greater profits at any cost, including the #environment

I can't say I know the alternative, but I know mankind needs to find it if the species is to survive.

None of this will change though. I think we're fucked. Glum, I know, but there it is.

Another lovely misty morning
