I see a lot of people in the #SelfHosting and #HomeLab communities using complex setups comprising business-grade equipment.
I'm running 7 VMs on an old Dell OptiPlex desktop I got from a thrift store. I got my main SSD from the trash at an old job. I have files on a portable hard drive from 2009. Using salvaged hardware is half the fun of self-hosting for me. Good backups make up for unreliable hardware.
Hey fellow homelabers.
How can we have more impact with this hobby/skills?
I mean, how can we serve more people somehow instead of just us? Have a coop of sorts? Can we create a network to serve a purpose?
Throw ideas at this and perhaps boost for more reach.

Is there any framework or tool that lets me create a pokemon like pixel game, but based on html?
I would like to create a website that displays subpages not as links, but as locations. The user shall be able to walk there and then get a popup with the information of that subpage.
Any idea how to achive this?
