@galacticstone found this on Amelia Island today. Any thoughts? Also where in Florida are you?

So, since JoinMastodon.org has decided to change the way servers are listed on their website — showing preference for large servers who do not have a manual review process to join —>

May I ask that you Boost this post so people can find us at https://mstdn.games ?

Captured this small and violent squall that moved over the lighthouse last June, we could not believe what we were witnessing, the rain and hail came in seconds after I took this shot and we had to retreat #RubhaNanGall #Lighthouse #Nature #LandscapePhotography #BeautifulScotland #IsleOfMull #Mull #Tobermory #Scotland #StormyWeather #Rainbow #Photography #SunSet #AltText

RIP to a musician and writer with credits on a veritable murderer's row of great ones.

Boosts on here are what will make or break Mastodon. If people can find other interesting people and content, they will stay and the site will grow. If its too much of a chore, they won’t. Other sites reward lazier social media grazing, and they surface content designed to maximize engagement, which often = lies, hate, stuff that enrages rather than enlightens. Mastodon just surfaces what imembers boost.

I’m genuinely at the end of my patience with Twitter.

I have literally had a Law and Order episode made about harassment targeted at me on Twitter. My tolerance for it is extremely high. But something has changed about the character since Elon took it over.

The level of trolls are out of control. Every conversation is toxic. And it’s changing me in ways I don’t like.

I need to dedicate more time to Mastadon.

Awhile back, I had a dream/nightmare about a global parasitic infection that caused the infected to seek to spread the infection by biting uninfected people. The only sign of the infection was a small, worm shaped mark on the neck. It was basically "Last of Us." I dreamt "Last of Us" without ever having played it or seen it or read anything about it until the show came out. The hive mind is real. I have never felt more connected to my fellow humans.
