Attached: 3 images Some further thoughts on @[email protected]'s post yesterday (https://mastodon.social/@_elena/113332849196888527). Even before the dodgy car salesman bought it, Twitter's algorithm and character limit tended to favour bad faith posts. As in, deliberately provocative post written in bad faith — either from the left or the right — would tend to perform better than a well-thought through thread based on facts and logic. Over the past couple of days on BSky, there's been an influx of Twitter regulars either creating or reactivating their accounts, and immediately making the same sorts of posts. Some screenshots of the sorts of posts I'm talking about, from @[email protected]'s recently reactivated dormant account, below. (My issue with these posts isn't with the poster's position on trans politics or Israel, but rather how these arguments are made. Namely, by immediately attacking and insulting other users, and misrepresenting the counter arguments. Clearly, bad faith posting.) Those posts are likely to not get the same traction they would on X/Twitter. Some will go back to Elon's app and cry that they're not getting the same traction. Meanwhile, the people who are posting in good faith will find their natural home over time, whether it's here or BSky. BSky handling this round of triage is not necessarily a bad thing...
