Free Radical@pluralistic There’s a good example of enshittification happening now with chess.com and their recent acquisition Chessable. Chessable changed its terms of conditions to put free courses behind a paywall. Much discussion on the chess Reddit with examples from the history of chess.com enshittification, e.g. acquiring competitors, making them shitty, then killing them. Just passing this on in case it’s relevant to your interests.
