#GOG integration is all ready to go and smoke tested. But the backing data is probably stale on a good portion of user installs. This needs to be fixed before launching this work.

I've been kicking it around a little bit, but I may end up packaging a dump of the catalog with the installer, bulk loading it, and throwing it away after import. The benefit of this too is that it would prevent a huge catalog fetch on initial install, and should help get people up and running quicker.

It should be noted that U7 is not being detected by the TGI client because there's no GOG ID over in IGDB, but I submitted a data request there to correct that.

I don't think I'm going to stop buying games on the Epic store just yet, and if I don't, I'll continue to go for the best deal case by case. But if the offers are equal, will the developer getting a higher cut outweigh the risk of store closure? Does the latter even matter? No digital product is forever. GOG aside, we buy subscriptions, and I'm generally content with the thought "play through and move on". 3/3

Antes de comprar un videojuego antiguo en #GOG u otra plataforma, recomiendo encarecidamente mirar su tuvo lanzamiento en consolas, porque es muy probable que ejecutando la versión de consola mediante emulación tengáis mejores resultados y sobre todo mejor compatibilidad que con la versión para #PC.

No desperdiciéis vuestro dinero en cosas rotas.
