Ford govt: Bill 124 contributed to staffing crisis according to internal documents given to Health Minister Sylvia Jones

Jones has known since she took over as minister. It was in her transition binder.

"The admission was made in briefing notes prepared for Sylvia Jones in 2022, after she was appointed minister of health, and obtained by Global News through a freedom of information request."

I do not want a repeat of Jan 2020 when in the lead up to the Lunar New Year, I got emails from my then-workplace to ensure that "Chinese people celebrating with family & friends be vigilant in not coming to work if you have symptoms to protect [non-Asians] at work."

If we believe covid to be so harmless we cannot be bothered to wear masks indoors, what is the point of requiring travelers from China to test negative?

To avoid new variants? To decrease burden of disease?

Doesn't make sense if we don't invest in widespread prevention efforts.

Earlier this year, my wife took a snapshot of our daughter living her best life at the park.

It matched perfectly with a short poem I had written about my little girl. Hopefully someone gets a small amount of enjoyment out of it. πŸ™‚

Too often Black folks, many times #BlackWomen, are tasked with being the voice of #DEI reason in their organization.

Where are those 2020 #diversity initiatives and commitments today? Are those employees even with the company still? Or did they #burnout after realizing their efforts were falling on deaf organizational ears? πŸ€” 😣

I work with a lot of kids. There are 3 main things they want from you:

❀️ Your time without them having to ask for it, not related to their (or their siblings) activities

❀️ To not be involved in adult disagreements about parenting & relationships

❀️ To be seen as a whole person
