Well-being #Politics based on open knowledge is not constrained to Right, Left or Centre party thinking but based on nuanced #systemthinking focused on enabling sustainable personal & mutual well being that transcends political tribalism.

As I search for ways humanity can consciously evolve, beyond atomistic & destructive 'power-over-other(s)' ideologies, towards #diversityrich #mutualwellbeing based on #openknowledge, tapping into #ubuntu & #goldenrule thinking, the work of Manda Scott looks more than interesting

What is Conscious Evolution?

In this first episode of accidental gods, we outline the thinking that got us to here, and then go on to explore the possibility of transformational change – of conscious evolution – and the very practical, daily practice that could lead us towards it.

'Belief' is one of those words that need to be handled with care, particularly when talking about a belief in something that is inherently vague or not clearly defined.

It can too easily fix a person's thinking about a subject, reducing the inclination to continue questioning it.

Better perhaps to think in terms of levels and basis of current understanding?

Of course the people involved may well not want to refer to themselves as 'victims' but, even so, the loss they incurred was so significant to them that they cannot let it go and thus they retain a desire for retributive justice (against someone), which is often held by victims.

How much conflict, both between & within countries, is caused (or at least enabled) by BOTH sides perceiving themselves to be victims of an injustice (triggering deep emotions & 'lashing-out' behaviours) feeding spiralling patterns of mutual baiting & harm?

What thinking techniques do you use when looking for political solutions?

In my exploration for a set of cross-cultural principles to guide politics towards enabling everyone to achieve a good sustainable quality of life, I have made particular use of five thinking techniques, brief descriptions of which are provided in each of the links below: 1) Mutual Higher-Self Think
