Like many right now, I've been going though some David Lynch movies. I noticed this little gem of a "crazy credit" from IMDb on The Straight Story:
I prefer free open source software and while I'm not currently using Linux as my daily driver, every time I convince myself it's time to switch, someone comes out with a post like this about how you're a piece of shit and not worthy of friendship if you're not doing computing how they're doing computing. Then I think maybe I should just make Windows less shitty rather than invariably turn into a self-important, circle-jerking douche-nozzle.
Well, none of the inputs work except RF, but I'm assuming the set is repairable. I'm guessing capacitor plague from the 2002 mfg date. Won't be able to afford a repair for a while, I presume, but hopefully it'll work out. Shame I'll have to wait for that sweet, sweet component video....
That I'm apparently in the top 3% of Mastodon users doesn't comport with the fact that I pretty much never get ANY engagement with my posts.
