There's a fabulous selection of music and lots of photographic ideas. Everything remains unpredictable. The time Lynch takes for each scene draws me right into this world. I can't take my eyes off the screen! This episode makes explicit what has always been inherent in the series: women are human beings and men are psychos.
A great cast plays brilliantly written characters, and Andy and Lucy star in their own film, which is also brilliant. All of this is captured fantastically by Peter Deming. With Michael Cera playing Wally Brando, the episode becomes a veritable bouncy castle of eccentricities. I laughed so much! It's a stunning hour in the history of television. They let Lynch do his thing, and he delivered.
