I did *not* have a good start to my morning.

Our border collie, Dani, quite obviously wasn’t feeling well this morning. I had to coax her outside when she’s usually pulling me for all she’s worth.
I mean, I *bounce* behind her, she’s usually running so fast.

I was extremely worried for a bit but she is walking around a little now so she must feel better, at least a little bit.

Thank Goddess.

Pic is 5 yrs ago.

I hope you all have a good day and a reason to smile. 🌻

Good morning!
Okay, good afternoon.

It’s 4:34 pm here but it’s still my morning. I got up a little before 2 pm. LATE night.

I spent almost 2 hours with Al on face time. Al is my husband in the SNF. He loves to be with me during my “morning” routine. I love it too.

I was up with the dogs *so* early I was able to get a shot of some fungi that came up in the middle of the night. They’re all under an inch tall. White, covered with dew.

I hope you have a good day and a reason to smile.

My son brought a cricket into the house on his boot.

It soon found the forest 5.5 feet high, 1.68 meters
I’m afraid it’ll go hungry. 😭
First picture they’re on bottom right.
Second picture they are on the far right, climbing.
Third picture is of the top of cupboard with watch chain succulent surrounded by other succulents.

@SallyStrange

and everyone else that cares.

Took another quiz.

https://play.howstuffworks.com/quiz/what--socialist-are-you

87.2% Socialist.

Well, okay then.
Thanks, Sally.

What % Socialist Are You?

It's probably the most misunderstood word in our political lexicon—and even if you're sure you're not one doesn't mean you don't have a few things in common with it. Just how socialist are you?

Stop derailing the thread.

It’s freaking rude and disrespectful.

This is about Mark Robison and NC.
I’ll address a responding post on my timeline and since you deleted the post I’m responding to.
I’ll include a screen shot.

SEGREGATION is exactly and precisely what I was referencing and there was no mistaking that.

My Amelia. 😞
She is nearly 18 and has been deaf for years.

I bring her to bed with me every night. Yes, she’s always slept in my bed. Now, if she gets up for any reason she gets lost.

She never meowed or made a sound other than purring until my daughter took her to the vets for her ears. She came home knowing how to scream. 😭

Now she wakes me up nearly every night SCREAMING her head off until I find her and bring her back to bed.

So I bought a nice old walnut framed mirror for a wash basin stand or something similar.

I’m pretty sure it’s walnut. It looks like it and it is really heavy.

It’s 19”/48.26 cm across at the widest point and 14.5” 36.83 cm tall.

It didn’t clean up too badly for the first swipe at it.
Few paint drops here and there on the wood.

I really need a mirror for my vanity.
For $15, this one is it.
Half price sale at Goodwill.

Keeping Time: Origins of the Days of the Week

The Romans named the days of the week after their gods. The Germanic people adapted the Roman system and gave us the English names of the days.
