Freedom Riders were courageous 'white' & 'Black' #CivilRights activists who took part in Freedom Rides, bus trips thu the American South in 1961 to protest segregated bus terminals. They tried to use "whites-only" facilities at bus stations in Southern states & were confronted by arresting officers & horrific violence from white protestors but drew intl. attention to the movement & achieved change

This is pretty amazing to be honest.
Yesterday I put up a poll asking 1000 people to sign this petition demanding undocumented immigrants have the right to get a Driver's License.
296 people took the poll and 400 people also signed the petition. Everyone did what they said they would! How great is that! 😀

Thank you everyone that gave a thought to my husband today.
He’s retaining fluid to a great degree and they don’t seem to be in a huge hurry to find out why. Also sleeping 21 hours of the day with increasing weakness.
Kidney failure? Congestive heart failure? They ordered treatment (lasix, a diuretic) and tests this am and those orders were being entered into the computer as I left at 7:30 pm.
Not a soul entered his room to check on him today so I will be there at 7 am.

He’s not in very good shape.
It’s been five days and the SNF doesn’t seem to be in a big hurry to do anything because he’s a DNR, I suspect.
