I just want to note something.

I've heard a lot of folk talk about how hard it will be to shut down ICE after they just got a fuck-ton of money.

I will note that actually valuable services that safeguard peoples lives and businesses were just cut without so much as a grumble to pay for their jack boots.

Yeah, we can absolutely cut funding for ICE's concentration camps and brown shirt activities at the first opportunity.

Fun fact: resisting arrest is not a reason to shoot someone.

ICE agents saying that people are resisting more, so someone will get shot, are telling on themselves. It may be illegal to resist arrest, but the punishment for that crime is not firing squad, and it is settled in a court by a jury of peers. Shooting someone for resisting immigration arrest is an egregious crime by the officer. It is murder, and in this case, seemingly premeditated by the officers who are suggesting it may happen.
