Rather than these endless #wars, why don't the leaders of the two countries involved simply fight to the death. Cage match, or stalking each other on a deserted island ... Would save a lot of time, money, and unnecessary destruction, and ensures the death toll is one. UN can be the referee, the country attacked gets to choose the terrain and weapons, and we get to bet on the outcome.

Trying to wrap my head around the new rules to visit the UK. My daughter was born in Australia (I am British originally) but only has an Australian passport (as I wasn't married to her mother when she was born, our understanding at the time was she would have to claim citizenship) but now she might automatically be a dual citizen and need a passport but no one seems able to tell us until we try to travel and get rejected?! #UK is just getting more hostile.

The new #alexa+ seems to be pretty terrible. I have been disappointed since they broke the list integration with #AnyList (forcing you to use a 'skill' that made conversational interaction limited) but now they've totally enshittified that along with most day to day use. Can't see me spending money on another Echo device (not that any of the options are great either)

Discovered the hard way that I need to be more specific when getting my daughter to make lunch!

Drove past a stolen car that had lost control today, miscreants still getting out. Really annoyed to discover that my #dashcam hasn't actually recorded anything (despite cheerily saying "normal recording" each trip) since about November last year - card is fine, looks like the #Blackvue unit has died, the app can't even get live vision off it. Time for a replacement, but the choices are either expensive and/or require a cloud subscription. Shame, as I was happy with it just working up to now!
