So with that local context in mind, I find it hard to believe that the mental and emotional state of Rodney Hinton wouldn't have played a roll.

In these cases the courts want us to think ONLY of the original murderous cop's feelings of "fear".

But when the tables are turned, and justice is almost certain to be the next victim the state will say Rodney was "premeditated".

When really... we have a word for this, its called trauma. Trauma from a slowmotion genocide.

Attached: 1 image Now where things get interesting is that Rodney's lawyer did not object to the no bond ruling. He just wanted to make sure Rodney could get mental health services. After the hearing he said: "Not disappointed in no bond," Bennett told WLWT's Giacomo Luca after the hearing. "I believe my client was mentally ill at the time of the offense. I want him to get treatment. A no bond is appropriate, because he should not be released, he should be evaluated and treated." https://www.wlwt.com/article/rodney-hinton-jr-murder-charge-larry-henderson-bond-hearing/64687028

Update.

I watched a downloaded tv show last week, The Peripheral. Good show. Expensive show to make I guess.

Tonight, I've already watched that PopStar: Never Stop Never Stopping, and it was forgettable. Not going to post the link.

I just finished My Salinger Year (2020), directed by Philippe Falardeau, starring Margaret Qualley, Sigourney Weaver, Douglas Booth, Seána Kerslake, Colm Feore and Brían F. O'Byrne, which I quite enjoyed. A quieter Devil Wears Prada. Love Sigourney Weaver and Margaret Qualley was also very good.

Next up is another drama, 4 Months 3 Weeks and 2 Days (2007), a Romanian film directed by Cristian Mungiu and starring Anamaria Marinca, Laura Vasiliu, and Vlad Ivanov.

I'll watch another film or two tonight. Haven't picked them. They'll have to be dramas that don't rely on big screens and loud noises because I'm limited to a small monitor with built in speakers at the moment.

My Salinger Year - Wikipedia

Couple thoughts before my update.

1. It feels like it should be new years already.
2. The Rolling Stones song title is right.
3. Buying the same amount of stuff as last year this time costs 50% more. So if we're spending roughly the same amount, we're getting a third less.

Leaders, don't ask for donations. Ask for commitment to action on behalf of the less fortunate, on behalf of targeted groups, on behalf of minorities, benefits holders, and species other than our own. Ask us to commit to giving up on corporate relationships, to boycotting right wingers and the jobs they offer. Ask us to walk out and stay out.

Treat this as existential as you're trying to sell us it is. We know. We're waiting for the call, and our wallets are not necessarily open to being looted for the same old strategies.

1. It's merely illegal, not immoral, to blow up data centers.
2. Just because you're accused of something doesn't make you guilty of it.
3. There's better euphemisms than "more than one way to skin a cat," so come up with some already.
