In an almost unanimous vote, the Brazilian High Court has ruled today that homophobia can now be punishable with a prison sentence

This is a huge win for the LGBTQ+ community in Brazil that needs to be celebrated 🇧🇷

The 9-1 vote ruled that homophobic slurs and hate speech are a crime, similar to other forms of hate speech, such as racism.

Wo bleibt die #Unschuldsvermutung? Bis zur Verurteilung sollte man erstmal davon ausgehen, dass sich jemand im Dach geirrt hat.
Und woher will man überhaupt wissen, dass #Lindemann nicht sein Einverständnis gegeben hat?
