Day 25: With a busy schedule today, I just had time for a grocery store run. The closest one is 3 miles away, but 2 of those miles are on a trail through the woods by Bear Creek, so it's safe and enjoyable. With another snowy morning, I took my Fatboy #bicycle and my #BurleyNomad trailer. With a 16 pound Thanksgiving turkey, it was probably the heaviest load I've ever pulled. #cycling #BikeLeans #BikeTooter

#Introduce yourself with 5 #videogames

Star Trek (on an IBM 360 TSO TTY ca. 1972)
Pong
Pacman
King's Quest IV
Monty Python's A Complete Waste of Time

The #mnwild are not winning the board battles, this needs to change or they'll be chasing all game
Day 24: A near repeat of yesterday except with the temperature closer to freezing the snow is partially melting on pavement, but not bridge decks. I took my Fatboy #bicycle out again and rode on the trails through the woods. The wet snow is better at flocking the trees. #BikeLeans #cycling #BikeTooter
As I just read another article on #LongCovid and one on post- #covid immune deprivation in children, I am wondering why so few people still wear #masks. With an #ImmuneCompromised family member, we still rigorously wear KN95 masks in public indoors spaces and still do not eat indoors in restaurants. We now appear to be extreme outliers in our community. Why? So far we have still not caught COVID, but being the only masked people takes an emotional toll. #PublicHealth
I sometimes get so confused because there happen to be TWO players in the #nhl named Sebastian Aho. #canes #islanders
Day 23: Snow! I mounted the studded tires on my Fatboy #bicycle and headed out into an early winter wonderland. The snow got heavier as I went along and I couldn't even see my previous tracks on the return trip. #BikeTooter #cycling #BikeLeans
Here is an example of either poor design or poor execution of a #CurbCut on a multiuse trail. The ramp portion of the cut should be as wide as the trail and oriented in the direction of travel. This bad one causes one to swerve closer to traffic and prevents two way traffic for anyone rolling through. #cycling #BicycleInfrastructure
Day 22: With the coming forecast of accumulating snow, I thought it best to install the #pogies (Bar Mitts) on my Fatboy #bicycle and give it a good checkout ride. The brakes needed adjustment and I'll be swapping to the studded tires as soon as the snow/ice warrants. I rode the Chester Woods Trail again. #BikeLeans #cycling
My darling wife reminded me that we locally had our first dusting of snow several weeks ago when I was camping in Kentucky. So I was wrong on this apparent coincidence.
