A few days ago, pixelfed.social had about 6K monthly active users.

Now its 31K and counting, and while the service is a bit slow, it's still managing to stay online while I work on improving the app so I can firefight the backend afterwards.

While it remains in a pre-release beta state atm, we are testing federation and will be releasing full federation support, along with the source code once stable.
