The last days and weeks are been so brutal. It’s hard to have anything like hope when there’s ongoing ethnic cleansing and genocide and the most powerful people on Earth are trying to deny it.
But that means we must, absolutely must, push harder.
Today I saw a tweet from Jennine, a Palestinian woman, that said it all, “No time to mourn no time to grieve, the occupation turning every Gazan into a reporter, documenting their last moments, the decimation of everything they lived and cherished, for the world’s idle, cruel, distant, curiosity.” It is hard to have anything remotely akin to hope now. Yesterday the world saw Israel murder the family of Palestinian journalist
I appreciate the hell out of my state's Lt Governor getting proactive about banned and challenged books and going on a Banned Books Reading Tour so people can have conversations about these books. And today the tour hit the AP! #bannedbooks #gaypenguins
