It’s about time!

Scotland lowered our voting age to 16 over a decade ago, and it's been a great success. But 16 and 17 year olds were still unable to vote in Westminster elections.

This will strengthen democracy and give young people the power build their own future.

Another example of Republican stupidity: a camp in Denver provides summer and after school activities for kids in Five Points. Trump yanked their funding (less than $1 million).

We know from decades of research data that keeping kids in underserved areas in structured programming like camps and after school activities helps them stay in school, makes sure they eat, and decreases the likelihood of incarceration later. These early investments in their future save the country money.

Back in my day, we bought things once and actually owned them. Imagine that! You'd get a CD, a movie, a game, or a piece of software, it was a tangible item with a set price that was all yours. No strings attached.

Now? Everything's a fucking subscription. It's like renting your life, but somehow it ends up being way more expensive in the long run. Go figure.
