We the People Celebrate Flag Day: Stronger Together! · Mobilize
The American flag is a living symbol of a complex, evolving country. It represents our collective history—the triumphs, the hardships, and the values of liberty and justice.
On this Flag Day, we celebrate the freedoms guaranteed by our First Amendment—speech, religion, press, assembly, and protest—and the people power that both fuels these rights and is essential to guarantee them.
**Stand together with us - the Veterans Action Team of Indivisible Northampton, and a contingent of JFK Middle School students - on the public sidewalk on Rt 9 near the VA Medical Center in Leeds (Northampton) as we take a moment today to celebrate our rising up, our taking action to turn back the forces that are attacking our freedoms and our communities.**
Bring your flags and your signs! Please park in the Carpool Lot only at the VA or if you have a sticker or are a veteran, park in Look Park. If you can walk, you can park at JFK Middle School on Bridge Rd.
Sign ideas (or create your own): We love our Country, Trump loves himself /
We the People USA, No kings, no fascists! / USA - founded and built by immigrants / Freedom means Freedom for all!
We will stand stronger together and raise our voices in defense of our democracy and its symbol, our flag. We will re-commit to non-violence and non-cooperation in fighting would-be kings. And we will continue to fight together to build an inclusive and just society.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. We expect hosts to ensure all participants in your event uphold this commitment. We recommend all participants review our safety and security resource before your event: https://indivisi.org/safety.

Visibility Brigade: Democracy Day with Indivisible Western Queens · Mobilize
On Saturday, June 6th, D-Day (Democracy Day), join Indivisible Western Queens as we honor those who fought fascism on the beaches of Normandy by bringing that same spirit of resistance peacefully home!
Our Message: HONOR VETS - NOT BILLIONAIRES
On D-Day, brave Americans risked their lives to protect the four freedoms that President Franklin D. Roosevelt laid out in his 1941 State of the Union address: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Worship, Freedom from Want, Freedom from Fear.
Today, billionaires are stripping away those freedoms and catapulting us toward a system where we do not have a voice in how we are governed.
Join Indivisible Western Queens as we display our message in giant letters on Shore Boulevard in Astoria Park to awaken our fellow park-goers to the crisis we are living in and honor our vets who fought for freedom over fascism.
We will encourage participation in nonviolent, joyful resistance against fascist billionaires who want to strip us of our freedoms. We will have a voter registration table where we will encourage people to check their registration status and register to vote. We will distribute information about the four freedoms and how billionaires are threatening them. We will encourage people to join Indivisible Western Queens to get involved in the fight for our freedoms.
Join us! You can hold a sign, wave an American flag, help people register to vote, and chat with your fellow volunteers. You don't need to bring anything but yourself but if you want to bring your own sign or flag to hold, you are more than welcome to.
If you are a veteran, we would be especially honored if you could join us!

Greater Capital Region Coalition & ALBANY PRIDE PARADE: PRIDE is Resistance! · Mobilize
Known as the largest Pride celebration in New York State outside of New York City, Albany’s Capital Pride Parade and Festival dates back to 1997.
But events leading up to this annual celebration began 25 years prior when the oldest, continuously operating pride center in the nation, the Pride Center of the Capital Region, first opened its doors in 1970. The mission of the Pride Center of the Capital Region is to promote the well-being of all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer-identified people and those affected by discrimination based on gender identity and expression. The Center is continually working to build a welcoming and empowering community for all people.
This year the Greater Capital Region Coalition (Upstate NY Progressive Activists) and DeFLOCK518 proudly join our LGBTQ+ community to parade & celebrate our common goal of Equality for All.
There are 13 groups in the coalition. Each group has selected a PRIDE FLAG color to wear (RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE or PURPLE). You will receive an email with your group color. If you are not affiliated with a group, you are free to wear any of the Pride colors.
This June 14th, 2026 commemorates
1. PRIDE--a beacon of the struggle for EQUALITY
2. Flag Day--to strive for a MORE PERFECT UNION
3. The Anniversary of the 1st No KINGS RALLY
The Coalition and DeFLOCK518 represent thousands of activists in the Capital Region. We reject the tyrant in the White House and his narcissistic insanity. Let's unite together on this day to show our strength in numbers and demand the Humane Treatment of All People.
