This week, #OnePlaceWednesday takes place in the middle of #AllAboutThatPlace, an epic event celebrating our tenth anniversary with 130 bite-sized talks relating to #OnePlace research. So today we'll be doing our Wednesday tweeting (and watching out for yours) in between talks!

We ❤️ the concept of the #PowerOfPlace—the ability of place-based research to expand your #FamilyHistory horizons and enrich your understanding of your ancestors' lives.

On #OnePlaceWednesday here's a workshop on using #MyHeritage to tell the stories of buildings and places 🏡⛪️🏭🕍🏘️ which may be helpful to #genealogy and #OnePlaceStudy researchers.

Cottages for the win, or, moving to a new phase of the project

Just got my results email from
@UniStrathclyde Institute of #Genealogy and I've passed my PGCert! Thank you so much to my lovely, knowledgeable, supportive tutors. Now on to the Diploma (starting in March). I hope everyone else on the course has had good news today too :)
#FensterFreitag #WindowFriday This is a favourite of mine. It’s called ‘Cathedral’ and is part of the amazing https://www.forestofdean-sculpture.org.uk/. It depicts the trees of the forest, and hangs among the trees of the forest.
Exactly 20 years and 20 minutes ago, this happened.
