Something brand new, the tree and ravens were captured in the highlands of Falls Creek here in Australia. We have very chaotic forests which means the fog is quite vital to making a clear composition. The ravens were captured in nearby trees as there are many found in this area, just not where you want them =P

I'm posting 'Hold Your Head High' today, as we adopted a rescue dog Archie yesterday and this image reminds me so much of taking a proud dog on a walk. (I see a dog with its head pointed upwards and a little tail on the right, and its person on the left).

Hopefully he settles in well with Mieke and I and we spend many years together!

I'm a #landscape and #nature #photographer based out of Fort Worth, #Texas which means, aside from my local park, I do a LOT of driving for #photography, especially to #utah and the desert southwest.

I'm a #photographer from #colorado and one of my favorite subjects to photograph is smaller scenes of nature.

I've fallen more in love with #photography over the years as a result of this predilection since it allows me to slowly move about the landscape and respond and react to the nuances of nature and express myself visually. I hope you like these.

Standing on top of the mountain range, above a blanket of clouds and under a fading twilight, is a moment I wont soon forget. After a couple of tough days pushing through dense scrub I wasn’t sure if I’d make it. Finally arriving and being treated to the best sunset of the trip was the perfect reward.
