There's an argument that Trace is broken in #Netrunner but it's so thematic😭

Link also loses relevance.

What if we remove the ability to spend credits during Trace & avoid its use in subroutines?

To be backward compatible it could read "Trace² - Neither player can spend credits during this trace. If successful..."

Cards to buff/debuff Link become useful.

Avoiding subroutines means we can't just break it in lieu of investing in Link. Thoughts?
