I'm happy for #Artemis2 godspeed to the crew on their mission, but with the fractured #geopolitics & turmoil happening, it's hard to be as excited & enthralled as past generations have been for the previous Apollo missions. All the right-wing led governments right now are anti-science, & it reflects in the Conservative-owned media coverage. The mission is being heavily framed as a means to commercial exploitation of resources & space tourism, not for the furthering of science & research to benefit ALL of humanity.
Too many greedy SpaceX speculators seeing $ signs from this. After watching #TheExpanse have we not learned that capitalism in space is dire.
