As an atheist how do you handle conversations with your child after they get indoctrinated at school? Kid is only 6 and is believing that the bible stories are gospel. 🤦‍♀️ #ThanksForNothing #SchoolNativity #PunIntended
If I didn’t have twitter I’d have died, as this time last year @JuliaBradbury posted a tweet with info about ovarian cancer & I ticked every box and got a blood test at GP & caught it at stage 3 -which was late enough. I would never have questioned these symptoms otherwise
An Aberdonian mum of 1, now living in the shire with said kid, husband and dog. A #DesignEngineer by day, I also #design #knit and #sell my own #HandKnits and #KnittingPatterns as #JenStarKnits. I also organise local #CraftFairs with 3 other crafting women as #RightOnYourDoorstepEvents

Honestly Im definitily here for #SheepOfMastadon Most wholesome thing I've seen in ages.
Are there any other #folksy shop owners over here?
Thank you to everyone who favourited, reblogged and commented on the photo of the #Lego polar bear I posted earlier today. Here are a few more photos taken from different angles to give you a better idea of how wonderful it was to see that brick beast in all his glory. Love sharing nice things that can bring a moment of positivity to someone else. Enjoy!
Discovering #SheepOfMastadon has made my day. This is Yoda, a orphan lamb I adopted when I first moved to #Shetland.
At first he was terrified of other sheep, running if they came near or trying to butt them with his tiny horns. Some older yowes from my neighbors flock were kind to him. Even when he didn't know how to respond they nuzzled and groomed him and slowly, he learned to be a #sheep and went to live with the flock.
Fueled by coffee and mince pies. Thrilled to report that the baby blanket is very nearly done.
