At the end of the day, the only winners are big tech companies and their lawyers. The real losers in this battle are small, independent players people who write books, create music/art for a living, or journalists who do the actual legwork. The work of these individuals is used to train AI, allowing bit tech to collect massive money from Ads and API fees. When I say 'massive,' I’m not just talking about millions, they are making billions per quarter from chatbots like Gemini and API usage.
